Post-Procedure Care
This regimen is designed to soothe and hydrate skin after any PCA SKIN® chemical peel or professional treatment, microdermabrasion, non-ablative laser or IPL treatment.
Use until peeling has resolved, typically three to five days. For those with more sensitive skin or after more intense treatments, consider using the post-procedure regimen for 10 days.
Morning:
1. Cleanse with a small amount of Facial Wash. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
2. Apply a mixture of CliniCalm™ 1% and ReBalance. Due to the maximum strength of hydrocortisone contained in CliniCalm™ 1%, it should only be used for sevenday intervals or as directed by a physician.
3. Apply the appropriate PCA SKIN® broad spectrum SPF product for daytime moisture and broad spectrum UV protection.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary to keep the skin lubricated, protected and comfortable throughout the day.
Evening:
1. Cleanse with a small amount of Facial Wash. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
2. Apply a mixture of CliniCalm™ 1% and ReBalance.
3. Apply a small amount of Silkcoat® Balm as a nighttime moisturizing treatment for your skin.
Note: If your physician or PCA SKIN Certified Professional has made recommendations different from those stated above, please follow the recommendations of your physician or skincare professional.
Once skin has returned to normal: Return to your regular PCA SKIN daily care regimen as recommended by your physician or skincare professional.
Tip: Apply Hydrating Serum, ReBalance or Silkcoat® Balm throughout the day to maintain hydration and decrease the appearance of flaking.
